We are happy to welcome Dr. Pachy to Eyecare Associates. Dr. Lauren Pachy is originally from the small town of Nixa, MO (between Springfield and Branson). By junior high, she knew she wanted to be an optometrist once her older brother needed glasses (like any good younger sister, she blames it on her brother!). After high school, she graduated from Missouri State University. She met her husband, Thomas, at a family owned Italian restaurant where her dad was a chef.
Dr. Pachy’s professional training was at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry (NSUOCO), where she developed a special interest in fitting contact lenses, slowing down nearsightedness progression in kids as well as ocular diseases. She is a primary care optometrist seeing patients of all ages and health needs. Like her mother, an art teacher, Dr. Pachy will paint a perfect picture for each patient’s visual needs and treatments.
