I should have called ahead before landing on your doorstep. It was one of those crazy mornings, where I had decided (fatalistically) that if you could accommodate me, my eye would be fixed and if not, I would suffer through it. Brave and stupid, eh? Thanks for saving me from my own poor decision making.

You and Doug have an amazing capacity for caring for your patients. I've never felt particularly 'lucky' to have landed with a healthcare provider...but the two of you have made a believer of me. Thanks once more for the TLC and know that I am a loyal fan.

I hope NOT to see you soon and promise to be careful with my contact lenses in the future.

Thank you for helping my daughter Elizabeth recently when she experienced eye pain on a weekend. Even though your office was closed, you made yourself available. We are grateful for the extra effort you put forth to find an open pharmacy and even initiate phone calls to follow up on Elizabeth's care. I want to let you know what a wonderful job you did in comforting me and offering good advice when I had my herpes eye infection. Even though you were my eye doctor you provided me with much more than eye care and for that I am thankful. I have moved to Springfield Illinois and my new eye doctor is Dr. Robert Lowenthal, who told me he did his residency at KU with you, and he spoke very highly of you.
